Background.

I have no idea how to put my thoughts on paper. I try to sound all professional in hope that people will actually stop and read this. But then I stop and ask myself, why? Why try to make yourself into something that you're not? This is MY blog. My own personal place where I can write whatever I want, whether it sounds right or not. So I'm apologizing ahead of time for my weird style of writing. Thank you.

Now to start off, you should probably know a few things about me. My name is Devin, I'm a girl, and I'm 17. I live in the boring state of Pennsylvania, and if you don't know where that is, lucky you. I'm a junior in high school and I'm just now starting to realize what I want to do with my life. I want to study Anthropology. There's just something amazing about learning how ancient civilizations lived and it completely fascinates me. Being able to travel the world and learn about these different societies has been a dream of mine for quite some time. That's where my heart is pulling me. Even though no one in my family can understand it, it's still something that I plan on pursuing. It's all I want to do with my life.
